Exfoliated Vermiculite is used in the friction brake linings market, high-temperature insulation, loft insulation, various construction products, animal feeds, horticulture and many other industrial applications. Non-irritant and non-toxic, Micafil Vermiculite is a naturally occurring layered mineral, thermally expanded to produce highly aerated insulating and absorbent particles, which are lightweight, fireproof and inert.

Vermiculite is well established as an excellent thermal insulating material capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 1000°C.
