Soudal Soudatape Façade is a durable, airtight and vapour permeable tape for universal use on both the inside and the outside of the building envelope. UV resistant for 3 months exterior exposure. Perfect for use with open-facade membranes.

Split liner allows for easier application to corners.

Soudatape Façade is ideal for permanently airtight sealing of connections between wood derivative panels with each other and connections with adjacent smooth surfaces such as windows in roofs and/or penetrations. Also suitable for invisible and airtight covering of overlapping seams of black façade membranes and other vapour barriers behind cladding with open joints.


Apply Soudatape Façade, after partial removal of the protective film, centered on the joints between wood based panels or on the overlapping vapour barrier. Avoid folds in both the foil and the tape. Remove the protective foil evenly and press firmly over the entire length. If possible, use a pressure roller. Adhesive residues can be removed with soap and water. Do not use on frozen surfaces or surfaces on which condensation is present.
